The Maruti Suzuki Jimny presently stands as one of India’s most favored lifestyle off-roaders. This new SUV has sparked a frenzy within Maruti Suzuki dealerships, with eager buyers forming long queues to get their hands on this vehicle. The Jimny’s popularity isn’t limited to showrooms; it has gained equal prominence in the after-market accessories market. Companies have been diligently producing accessories tailored for this SUV. Bimbra 4×4, a prominent off-road accessories manufacturer in India, has recently entered the market with an array of its proprietary accessories.

On Facebook, Bimbra 4×4 recently shared a post introducing their assortment of accessories designed for the Maruti Suzuki Jimny. The post featured an extensive list of accessories crafted by them as well as by other manufacturers. Accompanying this was a multitude of images showcasing a red Jimny outfitted with a comprehensive selection of off-road accessories. The post also mentioned ongoing development and testing of additional accessories, soon to be made available to customers.

From the images, it’s evident that the Jimny has been equipped with a fully customized metal front bumper complete with a winch plate. Other additions include a customized Suzuki front grille, a functional snorkel, tow hooks, projector fog lamps embedded in the bumper, and Arora Dually LED Lights (Red & White).

The vehicle has been fitted with 15-inch Lenso alloy wheels shod with robust off-road specific MAXXIS Tyres. It also features Tanabe suspension with a lift, and Proman wheel spacers (1.25 inches). Bimbra 4×4 has additionally integrated an Arora signal warning light bar, Lightforce floor lights (Red), ARB sand ladders, and 2 Jerry cans each with a 10L capacity.

Bimbra 4×4 noted the development of four distinct roof rack designs for the Jimny, and this specific Jimny is equipped with one of those designs. Beyond this, the company has incorporated rock sliders, defogger wire covers, a rear tow hook, underbody protection, a functional rear ladder, windscreen light mounting, and anti-theft nuts.

Transitioning to the interior, it’s clear that the vehicle has undergone a comprehensive transformation. As per the company’s post, the interior enhancements encompass a front armrest, dashboard tray, dashboard storage bag, front and rear seat organizers, custom red and black seat covers, as well as custom dashboard and door panels paint. They’ve also included an auto side mirror closer, top gear mats, gear shift panel light, and several other enhancements.

The company has currently not disclosed any modifications made to the powertrain of this Jimny. This suggests that the car retains its stock configuration under the bonnet. Maruti Suzuki offers the Jimny with a sole powertrain option – a 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine, mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. The engine outputs a maximum of 104.8 PS power and 134.2 Nm torque. Manual versions claim a fuel efficiency of 16.94 kmpl, while automatic variants promise 16.39 kmpl. Suzuki’s AllGrip Pro four-wheel-drive system is standard across all versions. However, it’s highly probable that with these modifications in place, the Jimny won’t come close to achieving these mileage figures.
